Christmas Fayre/ Open Day

The answer to all your Christmas shopping prayers comes on Sunday November 21. Our Xmas Fayre offers handmade cards, decorations, candles, bargain jewellery and cosmetics, and a big selection of plants. There’ll even be a White Witch with her crystals. Entertainment includes Name the Reindeer for the kids and mulled wine for the grown-ups.
The event runs from 12 noon till 3pm. As usual there’s an Open Day – check out the Club, find out more from the organisers about what’s on offer to members and players. Bar open all day.

Summer Fayre/ Open Day

• Bank Holiday Monday Aug 30th
• Fun for all the family!

Yet another success!! With NCC 2nd XI playing on the square, youngsters enjoyed a bouncy castle, goal-kick competitions, and a chance to try out their own batting and bowling skills. That left parents free to relax and sample the other attractions - bargains included hundreds of "as new" books and bedding plans courtesy of the Heighley Gate Garden Centre. The star attraction was the raffle thanks to a Newcastle United football signed not just by the team but the manager whose departure had been announced that day. The majority of people were sad to see him go and felt he'd done a great job for the team.

Once more the event produced a good sum for the campaign coffers, with nearly £500 added to the fund!

A huge thank you to everyone who attended the quiz night, especially everyone from the Royal Bank of Scotland. The function room hasn't been so busy for many years! Your support raised an incredible £600!!

EASTER EGG FUN

• Easter Monday April 12th 12 noon - 2pm
• Easter Egg hunt, Egg Decoration, lots of prizes!
• Fun for all ages. Non members welcome.

A big thank you to everyone who attended the Easter Egg Fun day. A great time was had by all, young and old. The event raised £200 but just as importantly there were lots of new faces enjoying the spring sunshine at the wonderful Jesmond ground!
